В Каталонии не утихают беспорядки
Пятый день подряд в Каталонии бушуют протесты, связанные с арестом Пабло Хаселя. В Барселоне, Валенсии, Сабаделе, Таррагоне тысячи человек выходят на улицы с требованием освободить музыканта. И вновь полиция применяет в отношении манифестантов резиновые пули и слезоточивый газ.
В Барселоне после начавшегося шествия, где принимали участие около 6 тыс. человек по центру города несколько молодых людей начали бить витрины и грабить магазины таких крупных брендов как Nike, Disigual, Tous, Versace и несколько других магазинов. В Барселоне также попытались поджечь Дворец каталонской музыки, но пожарные успели его потушить. Протестующие в Жироне и Гранаде строили баррикады и поджигали их. От полиции в толпе также были агенты в штатском, которые выявляли участников грабежей и вандализма. Радикалы выбрасывали на дорогу и поджигали припаркованные мотоциклы и мопеды. Идентифицирован человек, который слепил пилотов полицейского вертолета из лазерной указки.
"Задержаны 34 человека в связи с действиями, связанными с общественными беспорядками и мародерством вечером в субботу: один в Лериде, два в Таррагоне, 31 в Барселоне", - говорится в сообщении каталонских правоохранительных органов Mossos de Escuadra в Twitter.

Police detained Hasél following a 24-hour standoff at a university building which he had barricaded himself inside. Many people, including artists, celebrities and politicians, have expressed support for a change in the country's so-called "Gag Law" covering freedom of expression. The government unexpectedly announced last week that it would change the law to scrap prison terms for offenses involving freedom of expression.
